Episode 14: Rescued from the darkness
When we’ve heard the gospel presented clearly, our response may be to believe—because it seems like the sensible thing to do. We may not have a sense of being rescued or set free, because our lives don’t seem all that bad. But the Bible routinely contrasts righteousness with sin, light with darkness. The apostle Paul, for his part, says that through Jesus, we have been rescued “from the dominion of darkness” (Col 1:13). What does he mean?
